We’ve made it to Day 5! Next up is every chocolate lovers favorite, the chocolate crinkle cookie! So easy & fun to make. The recipe I used is from another blog called Gimme Some Oven. I’ve been using this recipe for a couple of years now & absolutely no complaints about it 😊

Crinkle cookies are so cute to look at when they’re all finished up. Except if you’re like me, your imagination runs wild. My husband and I had a laugh as I was rolling out the dough. I looked at him and said I felt like I was playing with reindeer poop. My hands were brown and chocolate-y and then I dropped each one into a pile of snow 😂Who knew reindeer poop would be so delicious?!

Then it made me wonder…. these cookies are like Santa’s secret… when boys and girls around the world leave Santa some bad snacks, or worse, non at all, the reindeer magically poop (yes, I went there) these out all night long on Christmas Eve! This way, Santa Claus has his own secret cookie supply to give him the energy he needs all night long! Have I gone to far?
