So, who should be planning the Bach bash? Many times it is wedding etiquette for the maid of honor and the bridesmaids do all the planning for this event but in modern days where many people plan more extravagant trips – it is totally normal for the bride-to-be and/or her family, to be involved in the planning process as well. Depending on budget, you’ll be able to determine your individual planning needs! This blog is meant to help you create the most out of your stay no matter how many nights you have planned!
Walt Disney World is not a cheap vacation however many families have timeshare rentals that are available or you can plan your getaway at one of the budget friendly hotels on site. It’s important to factor in travel costs and the convenience of travel times to and from the parks and your hotel.
Next up, you’ll want to figure out logistics! Would you like to surprise the bride to be with decorations? That is something an event planner, travel concierge service or hotel management can help with. Ideally upon arrival, it is nice to have any bride/bridesmaid gifts set up and ready to open along with decor! Your bachelorette party is the perfect place to give your bridesmaids their gifts and to thank them for all their hardwork thus far during the wedding planning process. Giving your maid of honor and bridesmaids a gift is a fun way to show your appreciation. Plus, you can have custom items made that are personalized and useful for your trip together! #BRIDETRIBE 💖
Bride & Bridesmaid Gift Sets
Some sweet bridesmaid and bridal gift ideas that are a MUST for your Disney trip are as follows: a personalized water bottle (you’ll be doing a lot of walking and possibly day drinking so you’ll need to stay hydrated!), cute bride/bridesmaid custom t-shirts to wear out to the parks, a personalized drawstring backpack or trendy fannypacks (who knew😂) to hold all your essentials while going on rides and last but not least an adorable pair of Mickey ears!! There are so many custom Mickey ear options that can be found online to order! Below I’ll be sharing a few pictures of my favorite gift inspirations for the bride & her tribe.

Although most of these items can be purchased on Etsy, you can also support your local Long Island businesses by purchasing a custom gift box by Stargazed Events! Once you have your gift sets made you can call the hotel ahead of time and make arrangements to have a beautiful display of gifts awaiting your arrival.
In addition to having gift sets ready for the bride and her tribe, another sweet touch to include at a bachelorette bash are Hangover/Survival Kits! These kits can include extra waters to stay hydrated, a form of caffeine like a nitro cold brew or 5 hour energy, mints, hair ties, make up removal wipes, band aids, Tylenol, Tums and more just to have back-up products if and when they are needed. Once you have your essentials — you are ready to have some fun!

Where to start?
Now, maybe you’ve never been to Disney and you’re wondering where to go and what to do. Maybe, you’ve been to Disney all your life but you have a few friends who will be enjoying this trip for the very first time. It’s important to keep everyone’s best interest in mind while planning this type of getaway! For those who have never been to Disney, a dining experience with characters is a MUST! I mean, who doesn’t love seeing Disney princesses, Mickey Mouse and his gang and all the characters?! There are many great spots for breakfast or dinner if you’re looking to plan character dining. One of the best places to schedule breakfast would be Ohana restaurant in the Polynesian resort. At Ohana, they serve family style. We’re talking Mickey Mouse waffles and all the good breakfast fixings you can imagine! Another great spot is Chef Mickey’s at The Contemporary or 1900 Park Fare for a chance to see some rare characters at the Grand Floridian!
In addition to planning your stay you may want to consider hiring a local travel agent! They can help you find the best deals when it comes to booking your flights, hotel and park services like tickets, Disney fast passes and meal plans. Utilizing a travel agent is key because you will have help from someone that has experience and knowledge on the ins and outs of Disney World which makes a simpler planning process overall. One local Long Island travel agent I would recommend, that specializes in Disney vacations, is EJ Cruz! You can find her website here. On Instagram you’ll find her @jiminysociety !

Where to stay?
As for hotels on the more affordable route you have Fort Wilderness, the All-Star hotels, Pop Century and the Art of Animation. Most of these hotels require bus transports to and from the parks which is something to be aware of. Traveling by bus is a simple option but is a longer route to the parks compared to a boat or monorail. Something to keep in mind! Other hotels like the French Quarters or the Caribbean Beach are also very reasonable. If the budget allows for a more high end stay some favorites are the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian and the Animal Kingdom lodge just to name a few!
What to do?
I mean – how do you fit it all into your schedule?! One thing to absolutely add to your to-do list is to make sure you see one of Disney’s spectacular firework shows! These shows are a once in a lifetime experience! One fan favorite is located in Hollywood studios, called Mickey’s Fantasmic show! Also, Magic Kingdom has so many wonderful parades like The Main Street Electrical Parade or the famous Happily Ever After Fireworks Show.
Then of course at Disney you need to make time to ride some rides! A few popular rides are Splash Mountain, Rockin’ Roller Coaster, Space Mountain, Test Track, Spinning Tea Cups, Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, It’s a Small World and Peter Pan takes Flight just to name a few!
Sample Disney Itinerary
If you are trying to get an idea on how long your Bachelorette trip should be it is ideal to stay 2-3 nights. In my opinion, you will able to get more out of your trip in 3 nights as there is so much to see between all four parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. You will also find a lot of adult fun on the boardwalk in Downtown Disney or in Disney Springs! Below is a sample Bach Bash itinerary ⬇️

Sample Itinerary✨
Creating an itinerary helps everyone follow the same guideline. It’s ideal to have time frames set prior to your arrival so that everyone knows what the plans will be and how to dress appropriately. After a day in the park you’ll need time to head back to the hotel, shower, nap and get changed for a fun night out! Planning ahead provides those comfortable time frames. Also, many restaurants require advanced reservations as well.
Fun Adult Activities
So, by now some of you may be thinking, “What about fun for adults?” and the magical part about Walt Disney World is that it’s everywhere! Disney Springs and The Boardwalk is a great place geared for adults. One famous dueling piano bar that many bachelorette/bachelor groups go to for some fun is Jellyrolls!

Another unique and original idea for adults was one by a Disney blogger The Magical Miranda on YouTube! She discussed how the rain ruined her original plans one night to ride a pontoon overlooking a fireworks show and it wound up being quite serendipitous. Her and her friends decided to do a “Monorail Pub Crawl” which included stopping at the Contemporary, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian.
Some great spots in The Contemporary are the Clubhouse Grille, with great scenic views of Magic Kingdom, The Wave, The Sand Bar and more! The Grand Floridian is home to Victoria & Albert’s with a fine dining cuisine that has a chef’s table and an in house sommelier (reservations for this location need very advanced bookings) and The Enchanted Rose lounge. Last but not least, the Polynesian has Kona Island, Tambu Lounge, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto (a famous tiki bar), and the Spirit of Aloha dinner show!
Another night life hotspot is the House of Blues which has live bands every night of the week! Some places may have cover charges to keep that in mind before you go!
Now of course, I had to save the best for last and that’s Epcot! When you are 21 and older, Epcot is a place you can explore, eat great food and drink alcoholic beverages from around the world!! With much research I was able to compile a list of the best foods and alcoholic drinks you can get in each country! You’ll thank me later😊

Eat & Drink around the world at Epcot💙
In addition to eating and drinking around the world at Epcot, this WDW park is also well known for four amazing festivals throughout the year which include: Festival of the Arts (February), Flower & Garden Festival (Spring), Food & Wine Festival (Fall) and Holidays Around the World (Winter)!
Now, What to eat?
If you are looking for a nice evening dining experience there is Cinderella’s Royal Table where you can eat in Cinderella’s castle at Magic Kingdom or at another fan favorite – Be Your Guest – for a lovely princess dining experience! Both Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Your Guest restaurants can have pretty long reservation wait lists, so you’ll want to hire that Disney travel agent to book these meal reservations for you! Once again keep in mind to always plan ahead!✨
For dinner and a musical show, it may interest you to book reservations at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue in Fort Wilderness. Or perhaps you would rather a more elegant, sit down dinner, then the Boathouse Restaurant in Disney Springs is a wonderful alternative.
Now let’s talk SNACKS! Who doesn’t want to try some of Walt Disney Worlds famous snacks. We all love a good instagrammable moment and so if you want the downlow on some of the best treats, keep reading! Most if not all the details on these snacks and sweets were provided by an amazing page called Disney Food Blog ! ! The Disney Food Blog is incredible and informative. All the creators are SO knowledgeable about all things Disney and their videos are fun to watch. You can find their page on YouTube, Instagram or their website here.
A list of must-have snacks include:
• Dole Whips (found at various locations)
• Bubble Waffle Ice Cream Sundaes (found at Aristo Crepe in Disney Springs) DFB says it’s one of the BEST ice cream sundaes in all of Disney!
• Boozey Beignets filled with baileys, Kaluha or Rhum Chata. Ask for the Godiva Chocolate Liqueur as that is a secret menu item per DFB! (found at Scat Cats Club Cafè)
• Mickey’s Celebration Donut (found all around parks)
• Ice Cream Taco – another secret menu item according to DFB (found at Ample Hills Creamery)
• Mega Shakes aka the Milkshakes of your dreams (found at Beaches & Cream)
• Epcot’s Artisan Cotton Candy in the China Pavilion (found at Good Fortune)
• GIANT pretzels (found in Epcot’s Germany pavilion)

And that wraps up this Disney style – Bach Bash post! I hope this blog brought your imagination to all of the best places and things WDW has to offer. No matter what the occasion there will always be something new and exciting going on. You will never be bored with this type of trip and it’s the perfect place to celebrate a bachelor/bachelorette party or a honeymoon!
Just recently, I watched the Imagineers documentary series on Disney+ and if you are a Disney lover like me and have never seen it — add it to your list! The thing that has most inspired me about Disney is that there is an underlying reminder that you can do anything you put your mind to as long as you have the courage to pursue it. Disney is more than just amusement and entertainment, it was a brand built on dreams. Imagineers really go into depth about how much science and innovation goes into their inventions and technology behind the scenes on a daily basis. Disney World provides education, innovation and it empowers and gathers communities from around the world. There is a Disneyland in California (the original Disney) as well as one in Paris, Japan and China! Truly incredible. Every detail of every park is thought out with intention. The Imagineers want you as a visitor to catch that glimmer and spark of pure magic and imagination everywhere you go!
One of my favorite quotes that I currently have hanging above my desk was a quote from Disneyland’s 60 year special 5 years ago and it says “DREAM BIG! Whatever it is that you aspire to do — reach for it, strive for it, build it! Because some dreams really do come true” ❤️
