Day 2, how exciting! We are closer and closer to Christmas, I can almost hear Santa’s sleigh bells in the air!! Did you know Santa loves a good Linzer tart?! Well, you do now… 😉

On the second day of Christmas cookies, I’ve made some Linzer tarts! It was my first time baking them but they came out so perfect and so adorable. What a fun sweet treat! I love that you can add whatever preserve you’d like so I went with an Apricot Raspberry flavor. It’s the perfect combo of sweet with a little tang! Topped off with some powdered sugar, they are the prettiest little cookies!

Recently I saw a food blogger online and she was making a cocoa flavored Linzer tart filled with a marshmellow creme! I think that’s the best part about cooking and baking. You can take a recipe and put your own, unique twist on it.
