Saltine Cracker cookies were one of my favorites as a kid. They still remain such a tasty, fun and easy treat to make around the holidays. Similar to a Christmas bark, it’s another cookie you can customize to your own personal preference.

You can make these tasty treats with a few simple steps! All you need is 5 simple ingredients: saltine crackers, sugar, butter , chocolate chips and crushed walnuts.

If you’d love to know how to make these, don’t worry, I will share this family recipe. Straight out of the highly classified cookie vault! Haha. If you try to make them, please feel free to comment below to let me know how they turn out!

Saltine Cracker Crunch Cookies:

First I lay all the saltines down on a lightly greased baking sheet. Then I make a sugar and melted butter mixture (1 stick of butter and about 1/3 c sugar). Preheat the oven to 300*F and bake the saltine crackers with the melted butter and sugar mixture for about 10 minutes. On a stovetop you can melt your chocolate chips. Once the chips have melted, take the saltines out of the oven and spread the chocolate mixture on top. Finally, you add the chopped walnuts. You’ll want to press the walnuts down so that they stick nicely to the chocolate. The last step is to refrigerate so that the chocolate hardens!

After it has been refrigerated, I usually take a pizza cutter to cut squares and break apart my Saltine Cracker Crunch. Don’t worry, it may get messy but that’s a part of the fun! Having uneven pieces somehow makes it more exciting to eat😊

I hope you have enjoyed reading Day 3 of the 12 days of Christmas Cookies! I look forward to sharing more with you all soon.
