Hi there! My name is Christina Roggenkamp and I am from Patchogue, Long Island. I have been working in the wedding industry as a wedding photographer and floral/event designer. I love assisting brides and grooms on the most magical days of their lives. Celebrating any milestone is such a fantastic feeling and every guest of honor deserves to feel like royalty on their big day. My goal as a professional wedding and event planner is to always make my clients comfortable and happy. They will be able to rely on me and my expertise without worrying or fretting any details.

My experience so far with LWPI has been remarkable. I am learning new things each day and I can understand the process and importance of becoming a certified wedding coordinator. It is my responsibility to keep a calm demeanor and to be knowledgeable of all facets of the wedding industry. It is important to have trustworthy vendors to create an overall amazing customer experience.
Today on the blog, I am presenting my first project which is all about Alex & Claire’s upcoming wedding! When a client has a focus and a goal in mind, it is my job to bring all of that to fruition. Alex & Claire want a laid back and colorful atmosphere and I am here to help every step along the way!
The project has many forms to be presented such as showing my Day-Of timeline, back up plans for any weather elements, sharing an inspiration mood board and explaining this couple’s love story and how it will translate overall on their big day.
I recently started my journey to become a certified wedding and event planner through the Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute (LWPI) and it has been a passion of mine for quite some time! For the last 5 years I have worked in the event industry and I love everything about weddings and events! I love continuing education and continuing to learn and grow as a coordinator and designer. With that said, I have one of my first projects which I am excited to share with you all, you can view my website here : Stargazed Events
Vanderbilt Museum // Centerport, NY
For this first project, I created a mood board for designing a wedding in 2022. Bohemian-chic, meets vintage meets high end elegance! Lots of colors, to replicate the palette of summer time, such as yellows, oranges, pink, slight hues of blue and natural greenery. When you become an event planner, you must create a comfortable atmosphere. You want to meet the best vendors, understand your clients and create a wedding or event of their dreams! At Lovegevity, I have learned already it is all about LOVE!
Attached here is the mood board for this particular assignment.

I look forward to learning and growing as well as sharing my knowledge with other aspiring event planners and designers out there. Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams! ❤
